چکیده

We present a general form of the iteration and interpolation process used in implicit particle filters. Implicit filters are based on a pseudo-Gaussian representation of posterior densities, and are designed to focus the particle paths so as to reduce the number of particles needed in nonlinear data assimilation. Examples are given. 1991 Mathematics Subject Classification. 60G35, 62M20, 86A05. The dates will be set by the publisher.

Two new three and four parametric with memory methods for solving nonlinear ‎equations

In this study, based on the optimal free derivative without memory methods proposed by Cordero et al. [A. Cordero, J.L. Hueso, E. Martinez, J.R. Torregrosa, Generating optimal derivative free iterative methods for nonlinear equations by using polynomial interpolation, Mathematical and Computer Modeling. 57 (2013) 1950-1956], we develop two new iterative with memory methods for solving a nonline...

Square-Root Sigma-Point Information Consensus Filters for Distributed Nonlinear Estimation

This paper focuses on the convergence rate and numerical characteristics of the nonlinear information consensus filter for object tracking using a distributed sensor network. To avoid the Jacobian calculation, improve the numerical characteristic and achieve more accurate estimation results for nonlinear distributed estimation, we introduce square-root extensions of derivative-free information ...

Cascade Adaptive Filters and Applications to Acoustic Echo Cancellation

Typical approaches to acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) in mobile telephones employ adaptive linear algorithms, such as the normalized least mean squares (NLMS) algorithm. Smaller, cheaper components on these devices introduce nonlinearities into the echo path, which adversely affect performance of linear AEC systems and necessitate means of nonlinear compensation. Memoryless nonlinear blocks th...

Short Note An example of inverse interpolation accelerated by precondition- ing

Prediction error filters can be used in a variety of ways to interpolate missing data. One of the main problems with inverse interpolation is its speed. Filters tend to be small, and thus take a long time to propagate information into unknown portions of the much larger model. One answer to this problem is a change of variables, to something closely related to the model but which has the proper...

THE USE OF THE HE'S ITERATION METHOD FOR SOLVING NONLINEAR EQUATIONS USING CADNA LIBRARY

In this paper, we apply the Newton’s and He’s iteration formulas in order to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations. In this case, we use the stochastic arithmetic and the CESTAC method to validate the results. We show that the He’s iteration formula is more reliable than the Newton’s iteration formula by using the CADNA library.
